Below is an alphabetical list of the instructional positions available within Xanadu Behavior Therapy. Please click on the position title you are interested in to find the minimum job requirements and documentation needed to apply, according the State of New Jersey Early Intervention System. Xanadu Behavior Therapy will require additional documentation from all applicants, such as W-4, I-9, Mantoux test, etc.


JOB TITLES




Child Development Associate
  • Copy of high school diploma, GED, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree
  • Documented experience working with young children (ages birth to five years) with disabilities

Child Development Specialist
  • Copy of Bachelor's degree in early childhood education (or related field, such as sociology) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 9 credit hours of coursework in special education
  • Copy of Standard Teacher's Certificate for Preschool through Grade 3 from NJ DOE (if applicable)
  • Minimum of one year experience working with young children (ages birth to five years) implementing behavioral intervention programs (after you received your degree)
  • Copy of Educational Transcripts

  • OR:

  • Copy of Master's degree from an accredited institution in developmental or clinical psychology
  • Coursework in infant and early childhood assessment and/or family training and counseling
  • Minimum of one year experience working with young children (ages birth to five years) implementing behavioral intervention programs (after you received your degree)

Behavior Specialist
  • Copy of Bachelor's degree in psychology from an accredited institution
  • Coursework in behavioral methodology (behavior analysis courses)

Special Educator

  • Copy of NJ Department of Education Standard Certificate as Teacher of Students with Disabilities

  • Copy of Educational Diploma
  • Copy of Educational Transcripts

  • OR:

  • Copy of Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • Copy of Educational Transcripts with coursework in early childhood/special education, early intervention, or other specialty program whose focus is on young children (birth to five years) with disabilities and their families
  • Copy of Standard NJ Certificate as Teacher of Preschool through Grade 3 acceptable in place of transcripts
  • Copy of Standard New Jersey Department of Education Certificate as Teacher of Students with Disabilities
