Social groups will be starting in August! Each social group will meet once per week for 90 minutes, on-site at Xanadu. We are limiting each group to six participants. Social groups will take place weekdays, in the afternoons and evenings. Our social groups are open to anyone ages 5yo-18yo: this is a great opportunity for any child or adolescent who struggles with social anxiety to meet some new friends! Cost is $200 for the month. We accept most insurance plans (most insurance plans cover this service if your child has a diagnosis of ASD). Masks will be required as per current CDC guidelines.
Your child does not need a diagnosis of ASD to participate in our social groups!
If your child is currently exhibiting behaviors such as self-injury and/or aggression, then they are not quite ready to join our social groups. Some of our other programs may be worth considering as an alternative.
